Morgellons is a disease that is marked by painful and sometimes disfiguring rashes that are often likened to fibers. While members of the established medical community dismiss the illness as the product of delusion or even mental illness, these Morgellons pictures indicate that something very real is happening to the patients striken with this often debilitating and sometimes disfiguring ailment.
Dr. Rahim Karjoo is convinced the illness is anything but a delusion and is gathering evidence that indicates that the illness may be related to silicone, either from inside the body in the form of surgical implants or from silicone fibers outside the body. He also has found evidence indicating possible links between the illness and material found in food products and nutritional supplements.
As these Morgellons pictures indicate, the disease can be both extremely unpleasant but is also treatable. Dr. Karjoo has had great success dealing with both Morgellons symptoms and its root causes and has helped numerous patients deal with a syndrome he believes may actually be misnamed. (Many refer to the illness as “Karjoo phenomenon.”)
Some of these Morgellons pictures may not terribly pleasant to look at, but they are valuable because they point out a reality that too many people are being forced to live with. They are hopeful in that they indicate that a cure is within reach for many.
